The US government’s own researchers confirmed that retinyl palmitate (a form of vitamin A) and oxybenzone, found in many sunscreens, can actually advance skin tumours when exposed to ordinary sunlight.  Stop trying to decipher the fine print on sunscreen labels. The best sun protection is common sense: Go inside, or into the shade, when you start to turn pink, or after 15 to 20 minutes.  It is going to take time before we have legislation to protect the consumers against sun protection creams with harmful ingredients.
